I think the number one reason is that some countries want to be the top county. They have a war to see who has the better weapons and technology stuff to see who is better. If a country wins more and more wars, then other countries will look up to them and see than they have more power than them. And sometimes if there are two countries that think they are the best, those two are bound to have a war against each other to see who is better.
I think nations go to war for things that has happened to them. For example America went to war during WW2 because they were bombed and they don't want people to think anyone can step on them so they can go to war. They also might go because of pride. If your talking about gang wars they go into wars because someone on their side gets shot or beat up by another gang. Also they have been in a war for a long time so thats just what they do now.
The number one reason why nations go to war is survival. The reason why it is the number one reason is because humans feel that they must do anything and everything to survive.
I think that the number one reason people go to war is that they want to fix something or they're angry about something. I think this because everyone gets angry at some point and most people want to fix something at some point. They might want to go to war because it seems like the best option. People who are angry go to war because being angry leads to being violent and war is violent.
The #1 reason that people and nations go to war is that they think it can settle differences. This is the case in almost all arguments or wars. Some don't understand that fighting doesn't solve differences. An example would be WW II. Other nations fought against communism because it was bad, and different.
People go to war when they hold their wants and needs above their morals. Some people have no morals so they do what they want with no regret. Others feel their cause is just enough to justify killing. War is a violation of ethics, but sometimes this violation is needed to preserve the rights and freedoms of a people. What people in a nation have to ask themselves is does the problem justify the force.
I think that the number one reason that the U.S. goes to war is to protect the weaker countries in a foreign country. I think this because we helped South Korea, Libya rebels, and South Vietnamese. The reason we do this is so that we even the playing field for the weaker of the two countries. I do think that war is necessary because God created it.
