Ethics?
Take a look at this cartoon. How does this show the lack of ethics in the classroom?

POSITIVE THINGS-
1) People can hang out with people who have the same interests as them.
2) New students could easily find out where they belong.
3) Finding the right clique can help you find out who you are.
4) They give you people to to hang out with.
5) They can prepare you for life outside of school. At future jobs and such, there will also be social structure.
NEGATIVE THINGS-
1) They can be exclusive and make others feel left out.
2) Some students might not be accepted into the clique they want to be in.
3) Kids might do awful things not be who they really are to try to get into a certain clique.
4) Leaders of more popular cliques can be bullies.
5) These bullies can cause the people in that clique, or trying to get in that clique, to feel bad about themselves. Sometime we even hear about extreme cases where kids commit suicide because of this.

5. Teachers can better identify problems because the people will all be grouped together in one clique

5. People might hate other people because they are in a different clique.
Pros- people can be friends with similar people. You can have friends, you don't have to hang out with people you don't like. It can strengthen relationships. You can tell inside jokes!
Cons- you are left out. You don't know inside jokes. You have do do things you don't want to do to be in a clique. It can diminish friendships with other cliquees. You have mean friends
Positive things about cliques:
1) Usually there is no one you hate in your clique
2) In cliques your friends are in it
3) You can be labeled as something good like athletic or smart in some cliques
4) Cliques can be a good way to get closer to people you mite not really know
5)If your on a sports team you can get closer so you know each other better so when your on the court, field, etc you might know the tendencies of your teammates
Bad things about cliques
1) You could be jugged for being in a certain clique
2) Your label could be wrong like if you were in a sports clique they might label all the people in that clique as strong when some might not be
3) You could be attacked by one clique
4) Cliques can mess up friendships
5)If your smart but on a sports team you might have to choose which one to be in
Positive things about cliques:
1. They help boost people's self esteem.
2. They strengthen people's friendships.
3. People in cliques like similar things.
4. Complimenting a clique is complimenting all the people in the clique.
5. They give you a sense of belonging.
Negative things about cliques:
1. They exclude people.
2. People might make stereotypes about a certain clique.
3. If you're not in a clique that's the best at something you might feel insulted.
4. They might make you feel like you're better than someone and that leads to bullying.
5. They might make some people try to change their personality.
The only good things that are positive that I could think of about cliques is you feel like you belong somewhere in the world. Another good thing is being in a clique people now what and what not to expect of you. The only bad things about being in a clique that I could think of is that that clique may label you as something you don't want to be labeled as. The other thing is that it might be exclusive.
Some positive things about cliques is you are more than likely simalar to them and they will always be your friends. Unless you get in a huge fight. Some negative things about cliques is if you got kicked out of a clique or something then the ithers would not let you in. Another bad thing about cliques is that you would Only know your groups people and people wouldnt know everyone an everyone would be in like their own world. Please do not post.

1. They can make you feel left out if you don't have specific group.
2. If you hang out with people not in your clique, they could exclude you.
3. Some people might not even belong to a clique and not be accepted.
4. There could be higher clique statuses that might degrade others.
5. You could have a lot of peer pressure for being in certain groups.
