To stop my friends stereotyping I could simply ask them not to. If that doesn't work I could tell them it's rude or show them that it's rude by stereotyping them. I could point out that they are wrong, but that would just make them mad. On a more positive note, I could compliment the person they were stereotyping right after they stereotype them.

I think if you want someone to stop stereotyping people, you should put it in their faces that just because they are of a different race or whatever other reason doesn't mean they are any different than yourself. Maybe if people spread this word or there was some internationally widespread message about it, people would realize how bad stereotyping is. People might not make some really strong friendships because of it. If everyone realized how much they have in common with people they harshly stereotype, people would have a lot more friends than they do right now.

Some ways to stop stereotyping between my friends is tom talk about stereotyping. I could talk about how it made people feel when stereotyped and tell some examples of stereotyping. I could ask someone if I could stereotype them and show them how it feels to be stereotyped.

You can bring up stories of people acting against their stereotype. You could also criticize people when they stereotype. Another way is to argue that the stereotype is wrong. Any of these solutions would work. We just have to put them in action.

I think that if you were to expose your friends to all cultures and races of people. I feel like this would work because then your friends would feel that they were wrong about what they think. They might even try to fight against other peoples thoughts about what they used to think. At least that is waht I might do.

To stop stereotyping among my friends, I can do multiple things. First, I can make sure I never get in the habit of stereotyping. This will make me a better person and will also make it so I won't be being hypocritical when I tell other people not to stereotype. Also, whenever I witness a fiend stereotyping, I can say something like, "Hey, don't judge a book by it's cover. Stereotyping is bad, that person might be really cool. You never know."

PS- Mr. Larson, it says on powerschool that I didn't write the blog on intro stereotyping last night but I did. Could you check on that for me?

In order to stop stereotyping among my frinds, I can get them to hang out with people taht they do not usually hang out with. I can also not use a strereotypical term to describe a person or group that we are talking about.

One thing you can do to stop stereotyping is influence your friends to hang out and learn about other races and ethnicities.

I don't really think I can stop other people from stereotyping. I think, instead of saying something about someone you don't know, you should go up to them and meet them. If someone new comes to GSL we shouldn't think they are different just because they are new, we should go up to them and meet them face-to-face.

To stop stereotyping you give your friends proof that tells them otherwise of their stereotype. Then they would realize that, for example, all asians are smart. You could also criticize them for judging a book by its cover.
