President FDr used his power for good. During the great depression he helped many who were out of work. He used his executive power to create agencies that gave workers benefits and fair pay. He also lead the country through most of world war two. He is a great example of power being used in a positive way.

You could use power to make make someone better at something. For example, say one of your friends needed help on some math homework and you know exactly how to do it. You could give them some pointers with your power of understanding things well, while also impacting your teacher. This would impact your teacher because it would make them feel better knowing they did well at teaching.

One example of me using my power on someone positively, is if you see someone about to jump off a building you can use your persuasive powers to get him off the building.

On Tuesdays at recess I go to Ms. Young's room to be her assistant. Usually that includes doing something with the first graders. I can influence their behavior in later life by either setting a good example or a bad example. When I set a good example I influence their lives positively.

An example of a positive use of power is when a teacher tell a student who is misbehaving to behave. The teacher has more power than the student because the teacher can inflict penalties onto the student. And by making the student stop misbehaving the student will not repeat that behavior elsewhere and the student will have a better life.

If you are more popular than a friend and you influence him greatly, he will benefit from things you do that are positive. Like if you were asked at a party if you wanted alcohol and you said no, the friend would most likely follow your footsteps and say no also.

I can use my power positively by trying to have a good attitude most of the time. It might affect other people and cause them to be positive also. I can also use my power to stand up for my friends. I could use my power to make people feel better about themselves when they are down by reminding them about how awesome they are more often. I could also use the power that I have as an 8th grader to be nicer to the younger grades. I might also help out my sister when she needs it even though I don't have to because of my power over her as an older sibling :)

If someone is in 8th grade and they see a 7th grader picking on a 5th grader, the 8th grader has the power to stop the 7th grader. The 8th grader has more power than the 7th grader because, they are in the grade above the 7th grader and they are older and they should know not to let that happen. A way I could use my power positively is by showing a good example of my parents. I remember that if I go somewhere, like to a dance at another school, that I have to represent my parents all the time. The last example would be during internships, I had to also represent GSL and my parents by having a good attitude and always working hard.

If I use my power for a good cause I could help the less fortunate and give them some money.

I would use my positive power to lift the spirits of a friend who was sad. I would tell them to think of something that would cheer them up. I would ask them if them if they wanted to play basketball or play a game.

When you have a power, for instance being extremely smart, you can ether use that power for good or evil. While some people are selfish and use the power by scamming people like Bernie Madoff, who stole 50 billion dollars. Then there are those who use their power for the benefit of others, Like Martin Luther King Jr. who led the civil rights movement.
