Tell me about the difficulties you have seen from our society not being uniform.
Example: Athletic people making fun of non-athletic people.
What are some of the things you can personally do to make being different not so bad.

I can hang out with people who are like me, so that we can form a large minority. I can participate in activites that the majority participates in, such as dances. I can always be positive and friendly around people who dislike me. I can also ignore them.
A bad example of this is when someone is smarter than someone else and understands things more easily. If they know they are better they may even brag, making the other person feel very unequal.
Something people do that makes a difference if they are not equal is being a student council president. If everyone was equal, there would be no specific leaders that better the community. We need more talkative people and more reserved people for different reasons.
I a lot of strong people make fun of weak people. If the strong people just realized that physical traits dont really matter they wouldnt see much of a difference between each other. And they would live happily ever after. And there would still be differences but no one would pay attention to them
Nearly everyone feels excluded or made fun of with a society that's not uniform. People who have a lot of money and can buy whatever they want tend to exclude people who don't seem equal to them. Also, if everyone is different and they all have different jobs, they are paid differently. It might be that someone who works hard all day and doesn't get much money is excluded by someone who doesn't lift a finger and is rich. You can help this not happen by spreading the word about unfairness and making sure you treat everyone fairly. You can also encourage others to treat people fairly.
Some people make fun of other people because they aren't as smart as them or they aren't as good at basketball as they are. Even thought its mean the way people make fun of other people, I think its good how our society is un-uniform because not everyone is the same and if everyone was the same the world wouldn't go around(I would think). It could also be kind of good because no one is getting picked on because their not amazingly smart like the other person. Or if someone isn't the best athlete. If the society was uniformed everyone would be the same and no one would be made fun of.
Some of the difficulties of our society not being uniform are people getting their feelings hurt because they lost in some sort of competition. You can humble yourself and give something of yours to less fortunate people who are in need of what you are giving.You can also let people beat you in races that don't matter as much as the big ones.
One of the problems I see is poverty. I say poverty because since in a uniform society everyone has the same pay, so no one has to compete. One of the things I can do to to make being different so bad is strive to do my best society.
In our society we all get jealous at someone even over something stupid. We also tend to brag if someone can do something another person can't. We can think twice of what we have and not be jealous. We can also help someone if they won't to know how to do something they cant do but you can.
Some examples are when a smart person makes fun of a less smart person, a good musician belittles a bad musician, a good dancer brags to a bad dancer. This happens when pretty much anyone who is better at something than another person makes fun of them or brags to them.
To make being different not so bad, I can stand up for different people when I hear them being talked about behind their backs. I can hang out with different people and get to know them better. I can also be nice to them whenever I see them and make them feel more accepted.
One problem i see in society caused by non-uniformity of people is bullying. People with more intelligence, strength athleticism or really anything making fun of people who have less natural talent. Sometimes the bully is actually making fun of people because they have more strength of intelligence. Using words like "nerd" or "jar-head". What people should understand is differences are not things to make fun of. Differences help us by giving us people with different viewpoints. people who have difference should know this too.
Some people will feel not as important as someone who is better then them. But there are things you can do to make you better at things like push yourself.
I personally can make an effort to hang out with people who may not necessarily be the same as me. Being different can sometimes be seen as being bad, but if we all hang out with everyone then that won't happen.
